OXY project
Oxytocin and opioids interact on the neural level.
We investigate whether interactive effects are also observable on social behavior in humans diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). For this, we try to implement novel eye tracking paradigms to measure social attention during real-life social interactions.
We also tap into social motivation by using reinforcement learning tasks using social rewards as feedback.
